Of course, there are many different Christian Internet radio stations, and not all of them are good. Also, not all of them are free. Although you can find free streaming Christian music, you may want to subscribe to a premium Internet radio service. This will allow you to listen to many more stations than you would be able to otherwise. Some of them are professional stations that make their money off of subscribers, so you will also be helping to spread the word by giving them a little bit for what they do.

Christian Internet radio can also be a great tool for your church. Many online youth ministries use the radio as a means of communicating with young believers. Unlike a normal radio station, it costs almost nothing to start up a Christian broadcasting channel, which means that anyone with a message of faith can get involved. I’ve even seen Christian media classes in churches, which encourage people to make their own Christian Internet radio broadcasts. I’ve been talking about bringing one of these to our church, and the board seems to feel pretty positively about the whole thing. As soon as we get the money and a media teacher, I think we’ll be good to go.
