First of all, you won’t get slapped. She also probably won’t be rude to you. The reason is that you’re coming up to her and laying down a nice compliment. If she’s not interested, she’ll laugh awkwardly and say ‘thanks but no thanks.’ Even if she moves on, it’s probably going to make her day.

Ironically, lots of guys expect the worst. Especially guys who aren’t that good looking, are fat or have a funny accent. They think she’s going to scream and go, ‘Get away from me, you creep!’ But that’s actually the opposite of what happens. Its really hard to find ways on how to approach a woman.
